Middlewich RC Primary School
New Commission - The Rainbow Window
Recclesia has completed the installation of the Rainbow Window at Middlewich Roman Catholic Primary School. The new window is traditionally leaded glass encapsulated inside modern gas-filled units to comply with building regulations in school buildings. The six giant panels run behind the altar in the curved elevation of the new chapel built by Clovemead Ltd. The window was designed by Jamie Moore and was built by the studio team in a little over ten weeks. The school is extremely pleased with their stunning new window.

Recclesia has just completed a full studio conservation project on the William Morris Tree of Life window from C13 St Cybi's Church Holyhead. The stained glass was in a bad way, with some 39 broken sections of glass, some missing altogether. Glass artist Kat Walton and conservation specialist Jamie Moore led the ten-week project to safeguard the future of the window which was reinstated in December 2009 along with new protective guards.
