Recclesia restores all types of metal windows, casements and architectural metalwork. Often, we restore window frames in conjunction with leaded light restoration, but we also undertake independent metalwork contracts too. Also see our page about Protective Guards.
Our advanced metalwork specialists also fabricate new casements, including copying traditional windows. We have particular experience in re-creating opening hopper-style windows for church buildings in stainless steel, and in fabricating new ferramenta.
Recclesia also undertakes to restore most architectural metalwork such as weathervanes, ironmongery, ventillation panels, cast iron rainwater goods and traditional iron signage. We employ traditional techniques hand in hand with modern processes.
As of May 2010, our metalwork studio occupies its own unit on the same business park as the stained glass studio and has been purpose-built to accomodate our requirements. Having outgrown its original home in the same building as the glass studio, we invested in new premises to allow the metalwork restoration studio space to stretch its wings.
We welcome any enquiry. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
