Masonry consolidation above barrel vaulted ceilings

Extensive work to the elevations of the St Nicholas Chapel were carried out, including masonry consolidation and insertion of CINTEC anchors, re-roofing, renewing lead valley gutters and lime repointing.

All of this took place above a barrel-vaulted plaster ceiling which was supported with scaffold and retained for the duration. Patch repairs to the ceiling were carried out where water ingress over time had damaged the ceiling.
